Your Data, Your Way

We never share anything personal about you.

Homesly never shares your name, your email, your phone, or your address with third parties. The only data we license out is anonymized and aggregated — patterns about how homes and appliances operate — and we share that with manufacturers and home-services professionals so they can build better products and serve homeowners better, even after your home is built.

You can still opt out of that anonymized sharing if you’d rather we didn’t. No account required. Below, plus the toggles in your Settings.

Opt out of anonymized data sharing

Enter the email you’d like us to confirm with, plus the property address you want excluded. We honor opt-outs within seven days. Required by California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Florida privacy laws — but we’d offer it anyway.

So we can apply the correct state-law-specific handling.

By submitting, you confirm the information above is accurate. Homesly will respond within 45 days, typically within 7. Opting out never changes your price, features, or service.

What this does

After we confirm your request, we stop including your property in any anonymized data product going forward. Manufacturer + insurer + inspector + agent partners won’t see patterns from your home in future queries. Anything that’s already left our system in a previously generated report can’t be retroactively retracted, but no new data flows.

What this doesn’t do

This opt-out doesn’t delete your Homesly account, your home record, your appliances, or your service history — that all stays with the home, available to you and (eventually) the next homeowner. To delete your account or export your data entirely, sign in and visit Settings → Data & Privacy, or email privacy@welcomehomesly.com.

Other ways to opt out

  • Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We honor that signal automatically — you don’t need to fill out this form if it’s on.
  • Sign in and use Settings → Data & Privacy — the toggles there go category-by-category (manufacturers, insurers, inspectors, agents) so you can pick which partners you’re comfortable with.
  • Email privacy@welcomehomesly.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”
  • Send a written request to privacy@welcomehomesly.com.

Authorized agents

You can designate someone to make this request on your behalf — they just need to include proof of authorization. We may circle back with you directly before acting on it.

What opting out doesn’t change

Homesly itself won’t charge you a different price, hide features, or downgrade your service because you opted out. Your home record, your appliance inventory, your Homesly-Do — all unchanged.

Note that third-party partners — insurers, real estate professionals, and others — make their own underwriting and pricing decisions. We can’t speak for what their products look like with or without aggregated home data. Opting out of Homesly’s sharing only affects what Homesly shares.
